Christian Dior Ready To Wear 2011

Despite the controversial issues with Galliano's outward and inappropriate behavior, Christian Dior held its Fall 2011 RTW show today.

I think they did the right thing bringing out all the workers behind this collection at the end. It reminded me that the whole company isn't based on one messed (I actually wanted to use another word instead of messed up but decided against it) up person but it involves an entire group of dedicated, hard working people. This sh*t rocks. Come on now, it does. I am aware that I am not sounding refined but I have to say that handmade pieces are so amazing to me. From Givenchy to Dior... this is my favorite piece from Dior's Spring 2011 show.

Hmm.. so now I'm going to go have my coffee and head to the yarn store to knit a hat for a friend, then meeting up with someone in the city for a drink. In the meantime, I'll be thinking of what clothing item I want to make for this Spring.  I'm revisiting my Barcelona trip to La Sagrada Familia so I'll post things up for this as well.
